After downloading a font, do the following:

1. Copy the font file (not the .zip, the .ttf).

2. Go to Start --> Control Panel(classic view) --> Fonts.

3. Paste the font anywhere there.

4. Make sure that it says Installing Font or something like that.

4. Open word or any typing program, and change the font to the one you downloaded.
